Jessie Gilbreath, pictured upper far right, used to change her trolly car at the Junction next to the Tuxedo Building -- the authentic and original Tuxedo Junction (a real place in Birmingham). Jessie was pregnant at that time with her first son who hosts a radio show from Tuxedo Junction, Ala., in simulcast with Dexter Ray co-hosting from Southern California.
The TUXEDO CLUB
The late Jessie Gilbreath pictured far right is the founder of the Tuxedo Club.   Jessie died on 10-Sep-2004.
Her son Stephen Lloyd Gilbreath, shown on the left side of the picture below right, is here for you -- to help you to get to know the musicians from the Swing-era.
It is Stephen's desire to carry on with his mother's love for the music and dancing from the Swing-era.
